Most people like ladybugs because they’re pretty, graceful, and harmless to humans. Farmers especially love them because they eat aphids and other plant-eating pests. Most ladybugs have oval, dome-shaped bodies with six short legs. Depending on the species, they can have spots, stripes, or no markings at all. Seven-spotted ladybugs are red or orange with three spots on each side and one in the middle. Ladybugs have a black head with white patches on either side.

Once a ladybug lands on you, it means that you are being reminded to be optimistic, to take care of your health, and that the divine is looking out for you. They serve others by being messengers of happiness. Despite its tiny frame, the ladybug indicates that the simplest things in life are the most important. The friendly ladybug is trusting, easy-going, and diplomatic. The carefree ladybug has a natural tendency to bring joy to others as they are tied to the concept of bringing good luck. In mythology and folklore, ladybugs grant wishes, prosperity, and safety. Many cultures around the world see the tiny ladybug as a sign of positive inspiration. Even though they are small, their spirit of love and protection is big. If the ladybug is your power animal, you are open minded and calm, believing that things will always work out for the best. You and are generally joyful and hopeful,  worrying less than others.
