The Pig is One of the Smartest Animals

Pigs were domesticated over 9,000 years ago and are found all over the world. They have stocky bodies, hoofed feet, and flat, long snouts for foraging food. There are 16 species of pigs including wild boars, wart hogs, and domestic pigs. The domestic pig is among the most populous among the large animals in the world. They are omnivores and consume a wide range of food.  Pigs are biologically similar to humans with an average weight of 200 to 300 lbs.

 The pig is self-reliant, independent, and fearless even in the face of difficulties. They know how to persevere and go where no one else will. The pig has the uncanny knack of making the most of any situation even if it makes them feel uncomfortable. Pigs are highly social, intelligent, and purpose driven. Despite some unfavorable inferences, pigs are hardy and lovable. They are considered the smartest barnyard animal. In fact, they can be trained as pets quicker than most dogs. The compassionate pig doesn’t have a big ego so they don’t worry if anyone acknowledges or appreciates them, they just keep moving forward
